Karen is a burst of creativity in every sense of the word! 

Whether she’s sketching, painting, or quilting on her beloved Gammill machines, there is always a spark of inspiration in her eyes, and she wants to share that inspiration with everyone!

Karen loves to share her enthusiasm for creating by teaching others. She loves to encourage and see her students push their boundaries and feel comfortable expanding their own creativity.

Fill Crazy

Whether filling open space or accentuating elements of your quilt, fills are an important part of quilting. They can create awesome texture and don’t have to be boring! Karen will cover several not-so ordinary fills (both large and small) as well as variations to create all overs, all while keeping them fun and not boring or tiresome.

Presentation will begin at 10:30 am Central Standard Time. (one hour length)

Magic Mandala

Workshop begins at 12 noon. This will be a 3-hour lecture and drawing workshop.

Using Karen’s Magic Mandalas stencil product you’ll create an
amazing Magic Mandalas wholecloth. Your design options are unlimited depending on which stencil shapes you choose. Karen will
cover using the Magic Mandala method for marking a wholecloth and you’ll be on your way to creating your own individidual marked wholecloth!
